A prescription for lenses may be issued following the assessment.

These may be corrective lenses or compensatory lenses which correct a defect in sight, for example short-sightedness or astigmatism.

They may be therapeutic lenses which are designed to create a change.  These lenses train the eyes to work together. They reorganise the vision. They should be worn for a prescribed amount of time.
